What is ALPON?
ALPON is Sixfab's edge management platform — it pairs Sixfab edge computers with a cloud dashboard so you can provision, monitor, and update devices across your fleet from one place.
How does the free trial work?
Order any ALPON-ready hardware and your first three months on ALPON Cloud are free. After that you move to a per-device subscription — see the pricing page for tiers.
Can I run my own software on the edge?
Yes — ALPON runs apps as containers. Ship your own image, push it from the dashboard, and ALPON manages distribution and updates across the fleet.
Is ALPON open-source?
The cloud platform is proprietary. The on-device runtime ships as part of the hardware. Our APIs and SDKs are documented and public.

Which devices do you sell?
The ALPON X4 (work-horse edge computer) and the ALPON X5 AI (flagship with on-device AI inference). Both ship with cellular and ALPON pre-integrated.
What are typical lead times?
Single units typically ship within 3–5 business days from Allen, TX or Berlin. Volume orders depend on configuration — usually 4–8 weeks.
What certifications do your devices carry?
CE, FCC, IC. Specific industrial ratings (e.g. IP66 outdoor) depend on enclosure variant.
Can I get a custom hardware variant?
Yes — for volume customers. We do custom carrier boards, sensor integrations, and enclosure variants. Talk to engineering.

About SIM, eSIM, and carriers.
Which carriers does Sixfab support?
Our eSIM ships with profiles for 600+ carriers worldwide. Devices roam between networks automatically. You can also bring your own SIM if you have an existing relationship.
Do you support 5G?
The X5 AI is 5G-ready (Sub-6). The X4 supports LTE Cat-4, LTE-M, and NB-IoT.
Can I use my own carrier SIM?
Yes — every device has a physical SIM slot in addition to the eSIM. Use whichever fits the deployment.
